Huge Posts - Solved!

No, I have NO IDEA why my last few posts are so huge. Any help from any experts lurking in the ether? Update: It WAS my fault! Thanks to Si, for figuring it out... Is it fixed now?

Have you made any template changes recently?

Sorry. I'm drawing a blank on this one. Shame on me; I lead teams that create web applications!

Mary P. has asked me for support, which is very gratifying, as I know next-to-nothing about these things.

The truly mystifying fact is that it isn't consistent. Here at work, the font is normal on Netscape, but enlarged on Internet Explorer.

Other people report that they use Internet Explorer and the blog looks fine.

I am baffled, though I've already admitted that I have no expertise with this stuff.

all lovely and normal sized now....

Pandora's new blog threatened to get over-sized when I tweaked her template, but it's back to normal now - I think!

Simon: Si was onto something when he asked if I'd made any template changes lately. Me, with the memory of a moderately enhanced gnat, said "No". But of course, I had.

About last Friday, I added a link to my Philosophy of Childcare. See it over there on the left? I made the font for that link a little larger than the other text, so it would show up a bit. I made it larger just fine, but I didn't close the tag properly, so I made the entire rest of the blog larger, from that point on...

I'm still a bit puzzled, though. Why didn't it show up on my screen enlarged, though, even when I'd reloaded several times? To me it looked as it's always looked, no change at all. If I'd seen it, I think I might've realized what had happened, but I had no visual feedback whatsoever. It also doesn't explain why some were seeing it fine, and others weren't.

CQ: Back to normal!! I'm so relieved. Very simple mistake, foolishly simple in fact, and would have been much easier to track down had I a) any kind of a memory, and b) been able to see the problem on my own screen.

However, all's well that ends well. Pandora? Have you started another blog?

I have been persuaded by many feline bloggers to permit my two furry reprobates to start their own blogs.

Not many bloggers have a fan club before they start!

The success of my felines' blogs will be carefully monitored.....
