Christmas is Afoot

Instructions for a happy Christmas. Take one book, "How to Make a Rag Rug". Purchase supplies: Burlap (craft quality, not the cheap stuff that goes around hedges - too bad!). Rug hooks. Fabric. Add one crafty twelve-year-old... And, with maybe a little help from mum, though certain 12-year-olds don't think this will be necessary, by Christmas a certain grampa (who does not read this blog!) will have a nice rug for his bedside on cold January mornings! We'll keep you posted.

She usually smiles more … must have gotten camera shy.

Misfit: So do we!

Lory: She's started early enough that I'm hopeful we won't have to pull an all-nighter on Christmas Eve finishing it. But thanks for wishing us luck - we might just need it!

Beckajo: Sorry, you have to make the crafty twelve-year-old on your own. They don't come in the box. Oh, and Welcome, fellow NaNoWriMom! (I love that term - did you come up with it?)

Hausfrau: There's crafty and there's crafty... Your wee one has now pooped in the potty, has she not? Didn't that take some crafiness??

Q: Camera shy? Emma?? No, I had to tell her to stop grinning at the camera and actually do some crafting.

Haley: Grampa will love it, of course, because Emma made it for him, but I'm also thinking he'll love it because it'll be warm and attractive! She picked the colours very carefully to match his new place.

Bill: "Mom with sister overtones" - which is to say she's gorgeous, of course!! I know you won't argue, not with all three of us reading this. LOL
