Go Mary! I'm impressed, what with the extra energy required to encourage Harry that you're still plugging along! Keep it up!

The writing has been the bright spot in an otherwise taxing week. It's not a huge output (at least I don't think it is), but since my focus is primarily on the word count, I don't imagine the content is what you'd call brilliant. Still, it's the first time I've ever tried anything beyond a short story, so it's a voyage of discovery every word of the way, and I'm truly enjoying it.

Don't worry if it's your best output. The experience is worthwhile. You are generating a lot of material to work with later.

Also, don't judge your work too soon. Let some time go by and you mightbe impressed when you re-read it.

Snaars!!!: I'm delighted to hear from you! How are you? Time for a quick check of your blog, I think.

Actually, right now I love what I've written, but I think it's like a mother with a homely baby - she's so delighted with what she's produced, she can only see beauty... So I'm waiting for a while to see if I develop a little objectivity. (Which I think, you know, I've managed to do, at least a little, with my flesh-and-blood offspring, so surely I can manage it with pixels in the ether!)

I've had such a disheartening start to NaNoWriMo. I'm hoping I catch up somewhere around the middle.

You on the other hand have made an excellent start - well done!!
