Times is Tight

This one is funny. Or at least I think it is. No wonder Bill Gates is the butt of so many jokes: when something is this extreme, it just becomes farcical. But you know, it's not as easy as it once was for a family of four to scrape by...

Makes me wish just a little bit that I was related to him somehow... "so, um, cousin Bill! You got any extra change you wanna throw my way? Say, maybe a couple mil? GREAT!" It's amazing how that's probably just change to him and it could really make a lifetimes worth of difference to most of the rest of the population.

So every time I go to the Dollar Store, it would be like Bill Gates going to the $1 million store.

I think I'm going to be sick.

Jill, Crayonz: I know he's quite the philanthropist, (how could I present myself as a worthy cause??), and I understand that since the birth of his daughters he's really into literacy, which is to his credit. Other wealthy people don't give of their excess. But still, one can't help but think, like crayonz, that a $1 million gift costs him as much as $1 costs me... The completely different plane of reality he lives on, is surreal, simply surreal, and all that dizzifying is definitely sick-making. Move over, crayonz!
