Archaeology, toddler-style

Darcy discovers something hidden in the snow. A while later, Darcy collapses from the effort, but George continues bravely, while Arthur arrives with shovel to do the heavy lifting. Voila! How long has that been there???

Wow, look at all that snow! It's not right that we've been dealing with grass fires while you have all that white, fluffy snow!

BTW, it will be in the 70's here tomorrow.

Our snow is long gone. Boo. I love the snow.

Were the boys totally psyched about the truck?

They look SO CUTE in their little snow suits!

(BTW, today was clear, sunny, and 80 degrees. And, yes, I'm bragging.)

Lory: Medic! Medic! He did recover enough to play with the cement mixer, though, so clearly it was worth the effort.

Crayonz: Grass fires/70F+ degrees; snow/-8F (temp right now)... You win some, you lose some!

Misfit: George and Darcy played with the truck for the next hour. Arthur just kept digging, cuz you never know what ELSE might be there. So, yup, totally psyched, each in their own way. V. cute.

Andie: Glad to be back to normal! And thanks for telling me. I'd never have known otherwise.

mim: They ARE cute in their snowsuits!

(Of course you may brag about your weather. We each have our compensations.)

I bet they were sooo excited to find it.

They look absolutely adorable and look at 'em out in the fresh cool air...I'm sure the one father who wanted to make sure they were outside is quite happy now.

And what a bonus to find a lost toy!~

I'm thinking the construction workers left it there when they were done paving the street and it shrunk in the cold weather.
