This is the view from the back of the bus. Note the one empty seat? That's for Emily, who starts next week!

Is that a four-seater? I love that it's got a box near you for storage. Did it come with that, or did you add it? My stroller has absolutely no space to put anything and it amazes me that they think you don't need more room when you're taking four kids someplace!

Candace: That pointy red had is very popular for the toddler set in this town. It's put out by Mountain Equipment Co-Op, and is called a crown hat, and yes, it's VERY cute!

Kelli: That's a Run About, by Berg Designs, a family-run business (in Oregon, I think). They make everything from single jogging strollers through SIX-seaters. Which take two to push! I think I had to buy the basket separately. Next, I want the rain shield. I love, love, love this thing: so light, I can push and steer with one hand, narrow enough to go through doors easily. Five-point harnesses for the kids, and two different brakes.

Ahhh so tell us more about Miss Emily. How old is she? Is she a full timer or a part timer?

That's a serious set of wheels! Man are you ever getting some exercise, not just walking around town, but lifting the kiddos in and out and strapping them in.

Awesome pic Mary, nice to hear your daycare is growing and do those pointy hats come in adult sizes? I want one :-)

Kimmyk: Every new set of dads that comes into the daycare has to oooh and aaah over that thing. I talk about all its great features and then say, "You know how men are supposed to be the ones who are fascinated by gadgets? Well, this is my gadget!" They all get it. :-)

MamacitaTina: Too true. Right now it's easy, with mostly 20-pound 13-month-olds! Easy. When they're all 30+ pound 2-year-olds, I'll be developing some great muscles, and they'll be walking up the steepest hills. And when they're two and a half? They walk!

Bill: Sorry, Bill. You can check out the links, but I think MEC doesn't make them above a size two.

Tater&Tot: Indeed it is.

Mo-wo: I love those pointy hats. Each winter, there's at least one kid with one. One winter, all five kids had them. Picture four pointy hats in the stroller and one walking alongside. We stopped traffic whenever we went out! (Which, frankly, got to be a little overwhelming at times for this mostly-introvert.) But cute? Eesh. We reeked of cute.

That is a fabulous pushchair (sorry, but I'm just too English to say 'stroller'). When my second child was born, the first one just had to walk as I couldn't be bothered with the heavy, wide double buggies that were available 30 years ago.
