Happy December

I know it's fashionable to go on about how much you hate hats, but I've always quite liked them. It can be tricky finding the right hat, no denying that, but once I've found the right one, I love wearing it. (Do I have any at the moment, besides functional-but-boring winter tuque-y things? No, I do not. But the principle stands. Hats can be fun!) Seems the parents feel the same way about headgear for their wee ones. Check out the millinery THIS week:

And my favourite by a mile...

I love picking out cute hats for my boys. For me, well, if I were as cute as they are that would be fun too.

I love hats, but we don't have a whole lot of need for them in Phoenix. Of course that didn't stop me from buying a cute little hat/mitten combo for Sophia. Ben's been wearing the same blue flame hat for the last couple of years. It still fits, and he's still in love with it.

So sweet!

I just started wearing hats. I'm sort of excited about it really. I just hope I don't look like a dork.

That last one is great. I like hats on other people, but I feel like I can't pull them off, myself. Bryce and Quinn love these kinds of hats, though.

I always find hats with ears when my kids are babies. I just think they are so cute. I just posted a pic today of Anya wearing her eared hat.

(P.S. I always read, but mostly at work where I can't comment - something about the firewall, I assume. I'm at home today though, so thought I'd say hi)

yeah, i adore hats. i don't have occasion to wear them nearly often enough, but i do love them. clearly, however, i need to start looking more into hats with little flannel flowers on the top, because i'm pretty sure my current limited selection includes no such options. :-P

That poof of flowers on top is too cute! And that first one is just so fun. I've got to keep my eye open when I'm in the stores. And I don't mean just for the kids...

millinery -- now that's a word I don't come across too much, and if I hadn't seen it in context, I'd have needed to look it up as a reminder.

regardless, i've never been a hat person (i get the worst hat head), but if i lived up there i suppose i'd learn to get by with one. in our family, kathy's the hat maven.

have a great weekend!

Oh, Madeline has the flower one, but in pink. It's fab! I am hoping that if Madeline develops a love of hats at her current age, it will stay with her for a long time. Fingers crossed, of course.

I'm hat obsessed. I love love love love hats.

And I have an email for you in my drafts folder. It's only been in there for a million years. One of these days...

I love those fuzzy hats! I wanted to find one with dinosaur spines for Q, but the only one in the store was orange, which wouldn't look too good with his read coat. We settled for some tassels instead.

I think I'd like the bouquet hat for myself!

Ooh, i loove that last one - so cute! I just got myself a red plaid wool bucket hat and Pumpkinpie wears a cute little purple one right now, with a cream-coloured bunny-eared pair in reserve.
